Chapter one: Take two
The day in the Kingdom of Hyrule was gorgeous: The sun shined, sharing its eternal warmth, and the wind was blowing softly through the Hyrule Field, not cold but comforting. If the Castle Town hadn't been crumbled to ground and the people hadn't been afraid no one could have suspected there was a great evil lurking inside the palace of the Royal Family, now turned into Ganon's Castle.
There was only one weapon to defeat that evil, and only one person to wield it, the hero dressed in green: the Hero of Time, Link. And even on a beautiful day like that, he did not rest, but ventured forth on his journey to go through all of the hidden temples and rescue seven sages. He couldn't feel the sun's warmth on his skin, nor did the wind make his golden hair flow. His confident steps echoed in the silent hallway of the underwater temple, where only a few had ever stepped in.
Link had processed with great success and confident through th
LoZ Only in the dark. Part 1.
A letter came today that never really happens at lon lon ranch very often. I didn't need to read it to know what has happened, I could see it on my dad and everybody else's faces. Link has died. "Malon I am sorry but-" My dad tryed to talk but I cut him off. "How did it happen?" He looked at the letter for a long time as if he wasn't sure if he was reading it right. "It looks like something killed him..." I waited for him to say more. "He had bites marks on his neck and had lost alot of blood." I had no control over my tears by this point. How? Link though just a boy. Was a hero. He never would have fallen in battle! It didn't make since! "What about Epona?" That was a weird thing to say, I mean Link is DEAD and all i can think to say is what happened to his horse! I guess thats what happens when you live with animals your entire life... "Epona was next to Link when the hyrule guards had found him. She is fine though. A little scared but fine." I can't say I was feeling any better
The Legend of Zelda: Unfrozen - Prolog
If one set its eyes on the ancient lands of Hyrule, a country blessed by the Goddesses themselves and under the governance of the prudent Royal Family that resided near the capital city, and if one was of an age a normal human could never achieve, it would expect a growing, youthful and spiritual country not only in the broad Hyrule Field, but also in the desert, mountain, lake, forest and the many small cities and farms through the whole country, all exploding with life of all sorts, guided by peaceful individuals of the Hylian race – rather than plain white and cold lairs of the death, stealing every ounce of life the land had resisted or that the sun brought away. However, this was an inevitable truth.
And if one overcame the melancholic shock for the ancient lands of paradise to have vanished and morphed into something that twisted, and if its eyes adjusted to the pure white surreal snow all around the place that rivalled the whites of the majestic clouds one had in its memor
Majora's Ghost - Prologue
The sun was blazing clear and bright over the pirate ship as Captain Tetra walked across the deck. The young girl reached the stern and looked over the sea as it glittered brightly in every direction. On the port side of the ship, they were passing an island that looked very dark against the bright blue sea. They were only a few miles from its beaches now, but Tetra wouldn’t give permission for them to go ashore. She had been disconcerted by how it had appeared out of thin air, long after Zuko should have spied it from the crow’s nest.
Now as they were leaving it behind them, Tetra pulled out her spyglass and watched after it. The island seemed to have been covered in a large forest at one time, but now there was nothing but dead black husks of trees remaining. The sand of the beaches was a deep gray color and large jagged black rocks stuck up like fingers reaching out to drag the island under the sea.
There was no reason to stop and survey the place for tre
The Hero's Dilemma Chapter 1
Link couldn't decide whether to just close or slam the door behind him, his anger tempered by his fear and confusion. How could Telma even think to tell him that he "shouldn't come back for a while?" She owed him not just her life, but the lives of a lost girl and a dying Zora! Had it not been for him the Bulblins would have burned them all to a crisp out in Hyrule Field, and now he wasn't so much as welcome in the bar?! How could she weigh the piercing, bespectacled glare of Shad, a comment that there's no need for swordsmen in a time of peace, and the frightened stares of a handful of customers over the monumental deeds of the hero of all Hyrule?!
Gripping his forehead with his fingers over his eyes, the once solid rock that had never cracked or shifted in the quakes of his journey now felt that he finally was crumbling. Had this been the first time something like this had happened, he would have stood up to his detracto

Author note :
Well first I appologize for this not-so-well-placed Author note, but there are things, my dear readers, that you need to know before the start of this story, and, well, the author comment on dA is placed below the deviation, so, here, author note ! x)
First of all, please note that english is not my mother tongue. I'm far from perfect at it, so I'd appreciate very much any fair critique about my work, and please do point any grammar/spelling error, non idiomatic expression, ect.
Secondly, this is a fanfiction about the Legend of Zelda. It will contain major spoilers about the Skyward Sword game, so I highly suggest you to play it first. (It's totally worth it: it's a very good game anyway).
I got the plot idea while reading the manga released in the Hyrule Historia book by Akira Himekawa. While the story was interesting, it was too short and was lacking much detail. I'm hoping to fill the holes with this story.
It will be divided in two main parts : the first one will
The Legend of Zelda: Deluge October 0
The vivid lights from the bonfires and the sounds of the dancing and partying still swimming in her mind, Zelda entered her dark bedroom. Setting down her gently burning oil lamp on her desk, she closed the door behind her. With a sigh, she leaned back against it wearily. Turning away towards her open window on the other side of the room, she walked over to shut it. She reached out to do so, but paused, gazing out below. Beneath her were the castle grounds, a vast span of gardens and man-made hills. Seven of the largest hills was a bonfire; seven being the traditional number for All Soul's Night. Around the flames were the dark figures of partygoers, flitting about like ghosts, casting long shadows as they danced, drank and chatted around the flames. For a moment she longed to join them, but then remembered her duties the next morning. Looking out one last time at the fires and then at the brilliantly shining Castle City beyond the grounds, she shut her window f

Chapter 1: Awakening
A beeping could be heard, it sounded like it followed a steady drum beat. Other unknown sounds could also be heard around the small faerie. She sat up and her eyes shot around the room she found herself in. She looked shocked. Her heart was racing. Where was she?
She quickly realized she was on a white pillow that she sunk into. The bed she was on was for a normal size person. It looked sort of like a cot by the simplicity of it. And as for her wounds, they were all wrapped up with bandages. It looked like someone was able to treat her after all.
The room was lit from the ceiling, but there were neither flames nor any windows for the sun. It did not seem to give off any heat. The source of the light that lit the room was mysterious. As for the floor it looked to be like some kind of iron or steal. It had a shine to i
LoZ: Fan Fiction Holiday List
All Souls Night (New Year's Night, October 31st): The most popular and widely celebrated holiday.
It is primarily the time to honor the dead, as well as mourn for them and accept their passing. There are specific rituals (prayers and burnt sacrifices) and the lighting of bonfires. Candles are also lit outside of every home to guide the way of the dead. Aside from these guidelines and the specific prayers, the details are left to the particular towns.
This also is a day for the elderly, and expressing the wisdom of old age; the elderly often tell stories on this day and have a great part in the proceedings. This makes the night a feast for Naryu, as she is the patron of old age. Yet, it is primarily a Farore-centered feast, as she's the guardian of spirits, ghosts and the afterlife.
Calan Gaeaf (New Year's Day, November 1st): This is not a very popular holiday. While All Souls Night is very festive, public and sacred, this day is more private and quiet. In most of Hyrule, it

The Minish Queen Chapter one prt 1
Chapter One: Part One: Her namelessness
A young minish girl stood in the hallway of a glorious Minish castle. To the left of her was a massive cherry wood door behind which she could hear the bickering voice of the minish elders. To the left of her was a seemingly never ending hallway. In front of her was painting. It was a portrait of a minish king with bright red eyes and sharp fangs that were framed in a smirk. The girl bowed her head and prayed.
"Oh father, Samson, great king if the minish people, please give me the strength to get through this meeting." She clasped her brown hands together and looked up at the image. Seeing her father gave her strength and courage. So, with a renewed resolve the young queen made her way towards the door where all the voices came from. It was then she pulled out a green piece of thread.
"Would you grant me you courage?" She clutched it close.
She took one last deep breathe before opening the door and entering.

There once was a time

when all the inhabited worlds we know in the black sea were one.
The Black Sea, of course is the old term for what is now given the more scientific term, "space".
The rulers of planet Hyrule, as well as the rest of the solar system have come to the agreement that this fact about the origins of the inhabited worlds is actually proven to be simple mythology.
Science has now become what the rulers of the current worlds deem to be
Legend of Zelda: Shadows of the Past - Prologue
A fatal misstep.
My vision blurred as my body flew through the air. The cold walls of Arbiter's Grounds crushed my ribs as I slammed into them at high speed. The stone stole my breath as I recoiled, the rest of my body hitting the wall a second time before falling limply to the ground. A sort of black veil seemed to wash over me as I struggled, desperately trying to keep myself from losing consciousness. The veil grew thicker and thicker, and I found myself losing the battle as the veil reached my mind. It begged to sleep, screaming at me to forget the life-or-death situation that I was currently in. I felt surprisingly little pain - there was more of a numbness that only seemed to make staying awake harder.
"Link!" I heard beneath the thick fog. A plea. My shoulders shook furiously, rousing me from my weary state. The veil shook with my shoulders, and eventually the layers of fog began to strip away. I finally found my vision again, and I looked around deliriously as it b

The Dusk Dragons: Prologue
The place was dark, yet beautiful, glowing a dark aurora that was peaceful yet hinted at an evil awakening. It was as if a neglected child had designed the world, a deathly dust raining down from the sky, settling on the barren trees, swaying at the slightest whisper of the wind. This was the North, further than Eldin Volcano, vaster than Lanayru Desert, and as dense as Faron Woods. The Gods of millennia old had deserted this place, having overrun with savage animals, beasts, monsters.
Chaos had been in reign here ever since the sealing of the Demon King, Demise. Oftentimes years would pass in these dead woods before a scamper of a mouse would ever so disturb the silence that had its grip here. One could wander these woods, thinking they'd walked in circles but in all actuality, they weren't. A sun would not peak for days at a time, and if it did it the thunderous clouds overhead would wash it out.
Today, however, was different, even the most ignorant

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME
The dark sky shone brightly under the luminescence of the full moon. Hanging low in the night, the orb looked out across the land. Its dazzle was beginning to fade into the horizon, sinking lower and lower. There was a single ray of life within the vast fields, and the moon dropped out of the sky behind the figure.
Racing across the plains of grassland, the figurea man astride a beautiful horsewas destined for a far and familiar place. He was returning to the place he had been raised, the only home he had ever known. It was there he had to be, to return the kindness she had always given him. For so long he had been away, and over the course of those years, she had come into danger.
A distant melody played in his mind. A song another woman had taught him once. The song of a radiant young girl. The lullaby soothed him on
The Lost Hero Part 1: The Unknown
A faint symbol on his hand that was all he had. He remembered nothing, not who he was or what that strange mark was on his right hand. He looks about his surroundings and sees nothing but a barren wasteland, a desert, for as far as the eye can see. He is surprised that he knows what a desert is but not anything about himself. The harsh sands whips at his face, blinding him as he unsuccessfully tries to find something, anything that will protect his eyes from the whipping sand. The sandstorm halts for a moment and he finds a piece of cloth, then looks around for something sharp to create slits in the cloth so he can see and still protect his eyes.
Surprisingly, he has a sword at his hip, a blade with a mysterious blue handle. It seems familiar to him as he gripped the sword, as if he had used this sword many times and his hand remembered even if he does not. Using the sword, he cuts slits in the cloth the

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2011!!
Chapter 1: It Begins
It was fairly cold out, and the crisp autumn air toyed with those who neglected their coats; this late October evening could easily be mistaken for a noon in January. Red was sure glad his winter coat was lined with thick, soft layers of fur faux of course as he made his way over to Lon Lon Ranch. The sun had set several minutes ago, but the sky still held onto a few rays of light, enough for Red to go on his walk without his fire rod to help him see.
The four Links had earlier settled in for the evening, making good use of their small home's fireplace to keep them warm. Red had made the group a batch of cookies after dinner,

Chapter 1-Come, Robin! To the Twilight!
The princess is back! They called, each spreading the news from one to another. Zant is gone, Ganondorf dead! A chorus of cheers rose from the crowd of Twili as I walked numbly to the throne.
I was finally home, a place I had wished to return since Zant had cursed me, so why did I regret it? Why did I wish to be back in the world of Light? Why did I so bitterly hate myself for shattering the Mirror?
I had asked myself this since my return journey, tried to convince myself that this was where I belonged, as Twilight Princess, princess of my people.
Why did I miss him so much?
I couldnt close my eyes, couldnt sleep, for every time I did, his surprised and heartbroken expression flashed beneath my lids. The expression that he had wore when he realized that he would never see me again, would never have a sassy imp sitting on his back or a human Twili at his side. I remembered how his crystalline, ice-blue eye

PROLOGUE: OF SYMBOLS AND WHISPERS
The Bridge of Eldin stood strong yet silent. The red sky painted it and its neighboring landscape in the most beautiful hues, and yet the sky lingered with the air of omens. A light yellowish flutter of clouds wisped throughout the dawn sky and dulled the warmth.
In the silence then a thundering neigh sounded, and a lone rider sped through the grand archway of the bridge. The footsteps of a red horse echoed against the thick stone, reverberating into the wide canyon that stretched far below. With the rising sun shining upon the pair from the west, the horses crimson body appeared even more vibrant, and orange tint running the length of its bouncing white mane and tail. The clomps of its hooves seemed to keep a constant rhythm, one that kept everything in sync.
Yet even with the Hyrulean Castle set just below the sun on the horizon, the rider remained unidentifiable other
---- Chapter 1: Ilia
The following dawn peeked through the tiny window in Link's house. Brightly, it highlighted his figure and danced across him until he could neglect it no longer. Link stretched, opening his eyes reluctantly. He rested his hands beneath his head as he stared up at the ceiling of which he was rather near. He glanced at his window. He did not wish to banish the light now, for its rays sparkled as they stretched throughout his hollowed home, a dwelling carved into a large tree. He lifted a finger, and watched as the beam played with it, twining it within its glory. A smile spread across his face and pulled his hand down out of the heat. His eyes began to close again....
Hey, Link! Hey, you awake?
Link stirred immediately and tumbled out of bed. With a hard thump, he was instantly awake. Blinking away the rest of his sleep, he found his day clothes and stepped toward the window of his tree house. Down below he saw Fado, the rancher. There you ar
