When they awoke, Kensou packed up everything, waiting until the last moment to wake up Kara.
"Kara," she said shaking her. "Kara, its time to get up.
"Nngh." she said. Groggily, she got up, making sure she had everything. Her face went pale as she reached behind her belt.
"Oh no!" Kara screamed nearly tearing her things apart to find her missing item.
"What is it?" Kensou said looking at her strangely.
"My knife! I always kept it behind my belt!" she ran around frantically.
A small glint seemed to catch Kensou's eye. "Is this it?" he said holding up a fairly large knife with a leather cover.
Kara took it happily, but her eyes faded int
Once they were within sight of the stoned wall, Kensou's face soured slightly. "Ah, I didn't think I'd see this place again so soon...."
"Heh, did you just start on the run today?" Kara asked kiddingly.
"No, a few months ago, almost half a year. Still, I don't think the soldiers will be happy to see me." He smiled slightly. "I still outrank them, even though I retired."
"I'm not surprised, most of these soldiers just become one for glory, and money. They don't care for Hyrule's safety at all!"
He laughed. "That they don't. I wonder, if you've been in Hyrule for awhile........" He trailed off.
"What?" the silver haired girl was getting an
Kara awoke in the dead of night. "Ow." she said, feeling the bump on her head. She heard the trickle of water, then a cold, wet cloth settled on her fore-head. She looked up to see Kensou's face. "Y-you're hurt " she said reaching up to feel the gash in his right cheek. He grabbed her hand, and set it to her side.
"I'd feel better if you rest " he said. Reluctantly, she closed her eyes once more.
When she woke up, she felt someone stroking her hair, and small tears fell onto her forehead. "K-Kensou?" she said tears welling up. "Kensou "
"What is it?" he said wiping his face.
"Thank you "
"For what? For bringing you
Securing his horse with care, Kensou entered the bar with Kara. He looked around curiously, for it's been awhile since he's been there. There were a couple people sitting in the back of the room studying a large map. "Hi everyone! I'm back!" Kara exclaims.
"And just WHERE have you been?" asked the looming Telma.
Stepping forward, Kensou bowed formally. "She was assisting me in the recapture of my horse, dear mistress. I didn't tie his reigns up tight enough, and he yanked them free. I apologize for any inconvenience my carelessness may have caused the both of you."
"Hmph, well, in that case, get your butt over here girl, we've got some cu
The next morning, Kara entered the main bar to find Kensou and Telma fighting over money.
"C'mon Telma! You let me stay two nights, with three meals, I have to pay you something!"
"I'm the head of the bar and I say you don't have to. Oh, good morning Kara!"
"Morning. Is Shelly around?"
"He's in the back where you left him." While Telma was talking, Kensou slipped some money into the open till. Kara left through the back door laughing at Kensou's sly move.
"Who's Shelly?" Kensou asked curiously.
"Oh, just her pet turtle. Honestly, I still never understood why she gave him such a girly name. That girl attracts some of the strangest animal
The next morning, Kara knocked on Kensou's door. "Kensou! Breakfast is ready!" Kensou was collecting his items, making sure he had everything. After breakfast, Kara stood up, and yelled to the back room, "Telma! I'm going out! I'll be back around noon-ish!" Kensou stood up as well to clear his dishes.
"May I come with you?" he asked.
"Well, sure I guess." Kara responded. As they walked out the door, the unattended horse was waiting outside for them. Quickly the two took care of the forgotten horse, then went on their way. Kara liked to wander, aimlessly finding a new place. But as they approached Kakariko Village, Kara stopped.

Kensou was riding on his borrowed horse when he caught the sight of Hylia Lake. Stopping to observe the beautiful scene, he got off the steed, and goes down to the Lake. The waterfall shone brighter than usual, and Kensou took in a deep breath, as the illuminating light seeped onto his face. Cautiously, he grabbed the hilt of his sword as movement caught his eyes. A silver-haired girl was running around, almost aimlessly. Releasing his sword, he walked towards her. The girl didn't seem to notice him at first, but soon her eyes were on him, studying his face, but her balance was poor, and she fell into the sparkling water. Surprised, Kensou ru
